Quite simply, Carter is a uniquely compelling songwriter and performer firmly in the country roots lane and I’m excited and honoured to appear at his weekly King Eddy Hotel feature in my old stomping grounds. I stomped around Calgary from 1980-1986 attending art school and hanging out at the King Eddy when it was a regular stop for top notch blues acts touring up from the States.
